Today

Well, because it is today, and today is as good a day as any, I have decided to resurrect this old blog.

Dusting off the dirt and dust that has gathered on its home page, I will start again.  I will stretch my broom out and sweep away the dog hair and the dust bunnies from the blank “new post” screen, and then will blow off all the wispy sticky spider webs that are floating on and off of the corners of the two lonely posts that are here, and I will start anew.

Yay and hooray for today!

I’d like to start this blog rebirth by thanking Leanne Cole of Leanne Cole Photography for posting one of my black and white  photos of San Francisco on her weekly Monochrome Madness segment.

… the afternoon bus. San Francisco. 2014

What an honour to have my picture there with so many talented artists.  I’m blown away – and inspired.  Please mosey on over to her site and check it out if you get a chance. She’s got some great posts and many, many beautiful photos.

And so, because I’m already exhausted from all the dusting and blowing and sweeping, I’ll say good-bye for now, but I’ll leave you with a quote from one of my favourite authors (I’ll give you two guesses who it is …) :

“Today you are you!

That is truer than true!

There is no one alive who is you-er than you!”

Have a fabulous today-y today, everybody!
