“So this is Christmas, another year done…” Oh no, that’s not it. Let me start again…
“So this is Christmas, and what have you done…”
Yah, nope, sorry John, the song just gets stuck in my head that first way and I can’t get it out; I guess though, really, it IS another year gone, we’re another year older, etcetera etcetera etcetera.
Oh no, wait, it’s “another year OVER.”
Oh dear, I’m massacring Mr. Lennon’s song. I’d better stop. It’s late, I’m tired. I’m full of turkey. Best finish this before things get worse!
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, or even just a plain old great December the 25th – for those who don’t celebrate Christmas. In our household today, we cooked our big fat turkey in the smoker (yummy!) but as we ate it, I realized how much I have to be grateful for – the many blessings I have – a home, a family, safety and love.
Anyway, here’s a pic of the Christmas Full Moon that was out tonight. Rumour has it we won’t see it again til 2034 at 5 am.
And so, happy Christmas! “Another year over, a new one just begun. “
Here’s hoping for a more peaceful 2016 – no matter what or Who you believe in.
